Is There a New Heresy? Semantic and Pragmatic Features of the Lexeme Herezja ‘Heresy’

Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the findings of research into the lexeme herezja (‘heresy’). First of all, the author focuses on lexicographic data in order to examine semantic changes, and comments on three of the definitions of the noun herezja. Finally, new collocations and new derivatives are described, and an analysis of the use of words ekoherezja and herezja ekologizmu is offered.
