Summary/Abstract: The article concerns the vocabulary related to education, used in schools in the city of Przemyśl. The research group consists of both students and teachers of Przemyśl primary, secondary and high school (as well as professional technical school). The main purpose of the article was not only to gather the regional school-related vocabulary of the inhabitants, but also to discuss selected issues in more detail. Moreover, the paper juxtaposes the regionalisms used in Przemyśl against lexemes used across Poland, and ponders upon the influence of mass media over this subgroup of vocabulary.
