Summary/Abstract: In the present text, we want to present some Belgian impressions regarding the situation of the Romanian Transylvanians at the end of the 19th century. Starting from the discussions of the Belgian diplomats with King Carol I, we want to answer the question how much the Moldavian-Wallachian Romanians were interested in the fate of the brothers from across the Carpathians using the Romanian-Belgian historiography and press.
