Particularities of the revolt from the spring of the year 1907

Summary/Abstract: The article, regarding the events of March 1907, brings in the foreground the dark side of them by presenting the violence that had happened. The peasants and the army, which has been called to pacify the country, are held accountable for these violence. Presentation of crimes from Tiganesti, in detail, it only makes the point that Romanian peasant were able of inhuman acts. But the true moral autors were the people who instigated the rebellion and who have contributed to eliminate the competition and the investors, all from the desire to master the land. The army came to calm the peasants but it has been shown in a pitiful manner serving the interests of landowners and their tenants only. Remembering this event from 110 years ago shows the fact that the modernization of the Romanian society should have been started from educating and raising the standard of living of peasants, who formed the majority of country.
