Summary/Abstract: This text is neither an extensive analysis of the discoveries made in Bacău County, nor a repertory of the sites dated in the II-IVth centuries AD (despite the fact that it contains a list of all known points where artefacts dated in this period were found). Its aim is to simply present the current state of research and to bring into attention different achievments, problems and necessities (regarding both fieldwork and the reanalysis of some of the finds) linked with the study of the two afore mentioned archaeological cultures.
