Summary/Abstract: In this article the author presents a few considerations about an important personality in the Orthodox Romanian Church – the metropolitan archbishop Pimen Georgescu. His activity in the First World War is underlined and his work for the National Unification of the Romanians. Also, the metropolitan archbishop Pimen Georgescu has remained in the public memory as the metropolitan archbishop of the Unification War.
