Summary/Abstract: The doctrine of clausula rebus sic stantibus was used the problem of unexpected changes by the contracts. The doctrine is revived the appearing of the frustration in the english and irish law in the XXth and XXIst century too. The study presents the legislation and the precendents too. The publication analyzes the reasons to which referred the identifying the frustration, for example war, inflation, illness, death and any other unexpected circumstances.
