Summary/Abstract: The activity of the investigative judge's institution during its existence has demonstrated countless times its usefulness and necessity, registering a positive dynamic in terms of strengthening and fulfilling its institutional role. Ensuring the observance of the procedural rights provided by the legislation of the Republic of Moldova and of the fundamental rights and freedoms of the person supported by international jurisprudence is granted extra protection by implementing by the investigating judge in the process of authorizing criminal prosecution, special investigative measures, preventive measures, procedural actions that represent a complex of activities that require maximum diligence in analyzing each case in terms of necessity and proportionality of the authorized action in relation to the restriction of the right to perform through the procedural action to be performed on the person involved in criminal proceedings.
