Summary/Abstract: The main article aims to highlight the phenomenon of crime in Europe, as well as its expansion from the East to the West of the continent, taking into account the fact that the phenomenon of organized crime is a real threat to contemporary society, and the development of this phenomenon tends to be extended. in the most sensitive areas of activity. At the same time, the characteristic features of transnational crime in the 2 countries of Europe are highlighted, respectively Romania and Bulgaria, in one of the most important research areas, based on the idea of organized crime organized criminal group, specific methods of operation, procedures investigation and control methods of the judiciary. Rigorous research has been carried out in this area, taking into account the standards set by European criminal law and strategies for combating serious crime of a transnational nature. At the same time, a comparative approach between Eastern and Western crime will be highlighted, focusing in particular on the phenomenon of crime in Eastern Europe.
