Summary/Abstract: The article explains the critical concepts when using domain-led design as a software development approach. It presents what makes a domain-driven design, how that philosophy came about, the advantages and disadvantages, and when it is best to use it. All the necessary elements that are essential for software designed in this way to succeed, which together form a domain-driven design, are explained in detail. Particular emphasis is placed on the importance of domain-driven design in the case of software in projects with complicated business processes.
