Summary/Abstract: Child labor is an important part of the European and domestic legal regulations. The intention of the European Committee, European Union, as of all national programs is to continue to work and in the future for children and mankind through better legal norms and actual abolishing of child labor. This effort is evident in the already acquired and ratified European documents that regulate the problem of child labor in various activities and various situations or protect childrens’ rights in general. Bosnia and Herzegovina has in many ways adapted its legislation to the ratified European social charter and some provisions of some laws that have remained incomplete and undefined must be amended and coordinated. Nonetheless, it is obvious that implementing the European social charter and domestic legislation is a considerably larger problem then regulating the very problem of child labor, since it has been shown in practice that the toughest task in all segments of society is to reveal, repress and eliminate child labor.
