Summary/Abstract: The paper emphasized the importance and essence of the concept of prosecutorial investigation that is present in the criminal procedure legislation of BiH as a state and the immediate environment, with emphasis on the role of prosecutors and police as well as their relationship in terms of communication and cooperation in the immediate treatment. The above relationship between the plaintiff-police prosecutor implies proactive and authorized officials to meet the efficiency of investigation of which directly depends on the indictment and its representation at trial. Bosnia and Herzegovina was the first country from the former Yugoslavia that has embraced the concept of the investigation that the plaintiff was replaced by the concept of judicial investigation. The reform of the criminal procedural law concept of prosecutorial investigation was opened and a number of questions relating to themselves an investigation into its origin, the rights and obligations related entities and other important criminal procedural questions.
