Summary/Abstract: An effective legal response to terrorism is fundamental in effectively opposing this type of criminality, on both the national and international levels. The basic tools that should be used in the fight against terrorism are found in key legal provisions, which form part of the states legal framework. The international community understands the need to align national legislation in a way that ensure terrorism and its associated criminal acts are consistently defined. However legal frameworks have become too narrow to meet the needs of the global community and the international organizations that are fighting terrorism. As a result, defining terrorism as well as the institutional framework for fight against terrorism has taken a new form. takes a new form and now varies from state to state. The goal of this paper is to analyze the material aspects of legal protection within national jurisdictions and to look at terrorism and related criminal acts, and to present certain suggestions and proposals.
