Summary/Abstract: The article makes an overview of the development of missionary activities of the Protestant denominations of different backgrounds in Bulgaria from the second half of the 19th century to 1944. It studies the religious education and upbringing of young people of Bulgarian and Gypsy origins. Using historical and archival sources, and ethnographic fieldwork as methods of work, this text aims to show that the most important part of the development of the church communities is the training of their members. Education in evangelical morality is also a key element in the socialization of every Evangelical Christian.
