When the Sky Whitens the Earth – Winter. Preparation for the Teaching the Islamic Religious Studies Class

Summary/Abstract: Very often we hear hypothetical assumptions that the children of a younger school age are not able to understand many of the contents of the religious studies class. It is obvious that such statements fail to consider a progressive continuity in the process of upbringing and overlook the individual abilities of each child, variety of learning styles and we might say the nature of the family environment. Through creative teaching we may achieve upbringing of the whole being of a pupil, as well as encourage friendly atmosphere and better communication amongst the pupils, all of which are of special interest to the Islamic religious studies class. This article presents preparation for teaching new content of the Islamic religious studies class for the second grade of the primary school. It contains information regarding the form of teaching, teaching methods and tools and it presents aims and goals of this teaching unit. It also presents microarticulation and macroarticulation of this class along with detailed instructions for its realisation. This work in interaction with other subjects, off ers a prospect for creative planning and realisation of classes.
