Summary/Abstract: In the past few years inhabitants of Lower Silesia realized that tourism positively contributed to the economic growth. Local councils and governments are aware that tourism can stimulate the realization of other important governmental implementations and directives. Such subregions as Karkonosze Mountains, Jizera Mountains, and Kłodzko region are regions of unique geographical location and reach cultural heritage, hence they are touristically attractive. Using these criteria the author has chosen these subregions, since they are often very similar in terms of these criteria, which will help to study relations between the tourism and socio-economical growth of these regions. For this purpose touristic products of these subregions have been analyzed as a factor of regional development of Lower Silesia.
