REVIVAL DIMITRIJA MILADINOV (200 years after his birth)

Summary/Abstract: One of the leading figures in the Macedonian 19-th century is Dimitrija Miladinov, whose name remains for ever observed and binding to the Macedonian people. The activity of Dimitirija Miladinov is multifaceted. From teacher activity, through his patron role over his students and collecting of folk works, publishing segment, national revival and diplomatic activities, updating the Macedonian cultural heritage, as well as continuing a damascenes tradition he was dives in solving of the most important national issues in the 19th century: the affirmation of the Macedonian language, the fight against the Ecumenical Patriarchate, the renewal of Archiepiscopacy of Ohrid, the fight for the human rights, putting them under common denominator storage of Macedonia identity.
