Summary/Abstract: The development of technology, the expansion of the distribution of the computer as an accessible tool for almost everyone did not go beyond the field of teaching. In recent years, e-learning has become an increasingly common tool in the education system. E-learning is not a single component, but is very complex, covering a wide range of approaches and methods, as well as topics of interest. In general, when talking about e-learning, we refer to learning methods in which the teacher and students are physically separated from each other by time and place. For this reason, sometimes beside the countless advantages that we identify in the case of using the e-learning means for available and efficient learning, there are certain disadvantages related to the priority of the credibility of the source or its scientific basis. If in certain situations the information can be generally valid and unanimously accepted by specialists in the field, in the case of more delicate topics such as nutrition or other aspects of human health, there may be controversies or even false information or which can not be generally adapted to each individual.
