Summary/Abstract: The volume Elmúlt jelen (Contemporary Present) and the contemporary, interactive art project of the same name undertakes to present the change of regime from the perspective of Hungarians in Romania. The documentation of the specific socialist transformation of our Hungarian life and way of life in Romania are invaluable. Although it is not a scientific publication, it can be considered a significant work, even from the researcher’s perspective. The volume and the project are written by the excellent representatives of the contemporary Transylvanian (human) science, and this professional foundation and outline serve as the basis of the book.
