Summary/Abstract: This article presents the opportunities offered by the use of interdisciplinary outdoor activities in the educational process. The script contains teaching content included in the primary school core curricula of science, biology, geography, history and civics. Lessons in the field are a valuable addition to the didactic and educational process. They determine the attractiveness of the conveyed material to students and have a significant impact on developing key competences. Moreover, they counteract the common verbalism in teaching. The presented form of knowledge transfer should be an inseparable element linking the teacher’s work with the educational potential of students. The proposed activities enable students to gain not only insight into the diversity of wildlife, but also to shape patriotic attitudes as a result of the opportunity to learn about the history of Poland and the region in which they live, as well as to experience and use theoretical knowledge in practical ways.
