Summary/Abstract: The article points out contemporary environmental problems, the progressing climate catastrophe and more effective methods of shaping attitudes concerning appropriate activities in the natural environment. The basis of the proposed methods are didactic games, based on information technology in integration with the natural environment. Information technology has developed so much in our times that even the youngest children use multimedia devices. But they are not always used for learning, and sometimes shape the wrong attitudes. However, when used in an appropriate way, they can help to influence the effectiveness of environmental education to a decisive degree.
