Summary/Abstract: After revealing that the waste is a global problem, the author stresses the importance of recycling in the context of a new model of sustainable development ecopolitic. Also, models are highlighted global recycling and directives (right side) in the European Commission. At the end of the article, the author sets out proposals for a study on the management of waste electrical and electronic equipment in Romania.
