An Evaulation On Digital Accessibility In Bringing Intangible Cultural Heritage Elements From Ethnic Diversity To Tourism: The Example Of Sakarya

Summary/Abstract: The richness of the intangible cultural heritage is to some extent related to the diversity of ethnic origins.today, cultural heritage, which makes itself felt more in the form of nostalgia, is also concidered as important source of supply in destination marketing. It is important to transfer it to digital environments both to maintain the bonds of new generations with the past and to protect the intangible cultural heritage as a touristic product. Thus, while connecting the past and the future for generations, it will be possible to turn the intangible cultural hertage into a competetive advantage as a tourist attraction. In this aticle, the intangible cultural heritage assets of Sakarya, which is one of the richest cities in Turkey in terms of ethnic dversity, ae discussed and an evaluation has been made on transferring them to digital media, protection them and introducing them to future generations, as well as contributing to the promtion of the city as a touristic value.
