Summary/Abstract: In all Kongoli’s novels there’s the presence of absurd, in the shape of the absurd power of chance, of the written destiny. The absurd derives from the socio-political conditions where there are the characters that are acting. From the circumstance of living under dictatorship – that generates many absurd circumstances – to the circumstances of living in a society under transition. The trauma of characters comes from their confrontation with these circumstances of hypothetical realities.
