Summary/Abstract: The armed conflict between the Russian Federation and Ukraine has changed the attitude of the Ukrainians to international law and, more specifically, to international courts. While the United Nations Security Council has proved unable to provide a solution to the conflict, Ukraine’s hope for justice has been vested in various international courts and tribunals. This article attempts to explain the inherent difficulties of Ukraine’s quest for justice at international courts, in particular, at the International Court of Justice.
