Summary/Abstract: This article presents a proposal for a unidirectional bilingual glossary (Spanish-Bulgarian) of the most frequently used notary terms and collocations in testate succession field. The author will begin with a brief contextualization on the similarities and differences between the Notary institution and the concept of testate succession, based on the legislations of the States concerned. Next, the particularities of notarial language as one of the sublanguages of the Spanish and Bulgarian legal languages will be described. The glossary building process will be explained later, emphasis is placed on the main difficulties encountered and the solutions provided in this paper. Finally, a global reflection applicable to development of other support materials in legal terminology will be offered.
