Summary/Abstract: The decission of forming, on the Soviet teritory, of some military formations was directly related with the political and military context from the final stage of the Second World War (1944-1945), when the units of the Red Army, step by step, took control of states from the Eastern, South-Eastern and Central Europe. Thus, Iosif Visarionovici Stalin granted a prioritary attention to the founding of the so called „voluntary formations“ in the Socialist Soviet Union Republic, which had as an objective the supporting of the local Communist parties in the process of gaining political power.
