Summary/Abstract: The study focuses on determining the level of anxiety towards mathematics in middle school students. A total of 202 students were surveyed. The main finding obtained is the factorial structure, which is made up of three factors that explain 79% of the total variance of the phenomenon under study (Mathcourse .893; Mathtest .890 and Mathtask .884) which is represented by an eigenvalue (2,371). Finally, it was found that there is a difference in relation to gender in two factors Mathtest (F = 14.282) and Mathtasks (F = 4.004).
