Summary/Abstract: The article presents a Bulgarian version of the Meyer&Allen’s questionnaire for measuring the organizational commitment of employees. Several independent groups of working people participated in the study - a total of 197, of whom 106 women and 91 men. As a result of factor analysis of the data, performed by the method of the main components with subsequent Varimax rotation, the original three-component structure of the organizational commitment – affective, continuance and normative components, was replicated. The reliability coefficient (Cronbach’s α) of the questionnaire are in the upper levels of those obtained with the original questionnaire in other studies. The convergent construct validity is proven with a high significant correlation between the Meyer&Allen’s questionnaire, on the one hand, and O’Reilly&Chatman’s „psychological attachment instrument“ – by another. In conclusion, the Bulgarian version shows good psychometric parameters and can be applied in research with Bulgarian samples.
