Tmavě modrozelená je nová černá aneb Neologismy v popiscích pořadů na streamovací platformě Netflix
Dark blue-green is the new black or Neologisms in the program labels on the Netflix streaming platform

Summary/Abstract: The article deals with neologisms in the descriptions of programs from 2011-2021 on the Netflix streaming platform. Neologisms were determined on the basis of a lexicographic criterion (absence in dictionaries). Excerpted units were then classified into one of three groups: 1. naming new content in a new form (biohacker, fo, morčauta), 2. naming new content using the existing form - one-word expressions (koronavirus, sólista, margaritovy), phrases (bílá privilegia) and idioms (být nová černá), 3. new naming of previously named content (hyeňák). Thematically, new words are recruited from the field of gastronomy, new technologies or social networks and the Internet. English (loanwords, anglosemantisms) plays an important role in the monitored new vocabulary. For further neological research, current lexicons of contemporary Czech would be beneficial.
