Summary/Abstract: On July 5, 2013, the Union of Jurists of Romania (hereinafter UJR) and the Ministry of Justice organized a symposium on “The role of the judiciary in the powers of the State system”. The event was occasioned by the celebration of Justice Day and was held at the UJR headquarters. The meeting was attended by magistrates, lawyers, notaries public, legal advisers, bailiffs and personalities of the public and judicial life.
