Summary/Abstract: The present study aims to analyze, through the prism of sociology, the village of Ibăneşti Pădure. This village gave birth to a religious community where the villagers are guided by biblical, patristic and dogmatic rules, enlivened by the traditional spirit of the villagers. The church has been a guide of conscience in the mentality of the people, and the teachings it has promoted have led people to take them and apply them in daily life to generate spiritual values. The fundamental norm for the religious community is the belief in the Supreme Entity (God), which is a producer of norms and which in turn give rise to other and other spiritual values. Every villager, assimilating the norms and putting them into social practice, creates the mystical-spiritual life for the religious community and which culminates with the ethos of the village. The spirit of the village is born when the religious community appropriates the rules to produce spiritual values. These rules are virtual germs that are growing and developing for the religious community.
