Summary/Abstract: As a method, geography has great potential for expressing the achievements and knowledge of many humanities. It is very natural, the population to occupy a central place. For various reasons, in the relatively small Bulgarian state territory there are unity and identity of its inhabitants. Comprehensive territorial differences are of particular interest not only to science, but also to public administration. Interests are usually focused on demographic, political and economic differences among the population. It is forgotten that the basis is the cultural differences manifested through education, technological level, material and spiritual culture. Folklore and dialects need special attention. Moreover, as Bulgarian practice shows, the national geography is almost completely forgotten, or, as it is in the Institute of Bulgarian Language at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences - ersatz geography is "made": philologists have opinion that if there are statistical materials, they could develop a section "Linguistic Geography"... Therefore, they could not and may be they avoid to explain the proximity of the various dialects, the dialect border, etc. With this study we want to support them by comparing the name system of two small Bulgarian cities, looking for evidence and an explanation of the possible unity and differences in the system of personal names of their inhabitants. The local elections in the fall of 2019 allow the documents of voters' names to be used freely, without the traditional administrative barriers. It is needed to know that these are the names of voters - people over 18 years of age at the time of the study. In this way, "yesterday's fashion" is captured in the development of the system of personal names, avoiding the current processes and the risks of the current cultural influences. Current factors takes time to be understood. Linguistic research needs minimal accumulation over time. This will avoid coincidences and we will have average and representative values. This statistical feature also could be applied to the economy and other conscious human activities.
