Summary/Abstract: The article is dealing with condictions and the specific legal sport regulations of the business of professional athletes’ agents. On the example of the filmed story of Jerry Maguire – an agent of american football players, we can see the different sides of this business, where the instrests of the agent and his client are sometimes opposite, on the other side, their professional existence sometimes depends on each other. On these grounds, the sport regulations adopted by sport bodies are mainly focused on the responsibility of the sport agents for the correct exercising of their business.
