Comparison of the judicial process in the book of Vaclav Kaplický with the political process with Milada Horakova in the 50’s

Summary/Abstract: Aim of this paper is to compare a book of Vaclav Kaplicky Kladivo na čarodějnice (Witches‘ Hammer) and political processes of the 50’s, namely the process of Milada Horakova. Author compares the modes of interrogation and questioning, expedience and also artificial, fabricated nature of processes themselves. Excerpts selected from the works of Vaclav Kaplicky demonstrate various common and different features of the historical process and process with Milada Horakova. Th e main purpose is to show the monstrosity and helplessness which is common to both processes.
