Summary/Abstract: This paper analyzes the legal remedies studied by the Peruvian doctrine to solve the problem generated by the change in circumstances produced by the Covid-19 pandemic in the lease contracts of commercial premises whose use was made impossible by the mandatory social isolation decreed by the Government of Peru. After analyzing these remedies, the author explained why the frustration of the purpose of the contract is the legal concept that best supports a review of the contract through the rebus sic stantibus clause.
