ТРАГОМ ЧУДА СИМОВИЋЕВЕ РЕЧИ – ДРАМА „ЧУДО У ШАРГАНУ“
ON THE TRAIL OF THE MIRACLE OF SIMOVIĆ’S WORD - THE DRAMA "ČUDO U ŠARGANU"

Summary/Abstract: The subject of the paper is Simović’s dramatic and poetic expression, primarily through the prism of the phenomenon of miracles, present in the drama Čudo u Šarganu. The phenomenon of miracle-working is interpreted in accordance with the poetic features of the writer, as well as the specific procedure of correspondence with paradigmatic biblical miracles that are clear in value, while in the drama they acquire a different nature. The character whose analysis will be especially represented is Beggar, who is a mediator of the metaphysical force, a miraculous healer who takes on the problems of others, which is why his nature is called into question. Special attention will be paid to the presence of mythical-religious performances and reflexes of oral literature, but also to the essential differences that are established between contemporary drama and traditional understandings of the nature and meaning of miracles. The goal of this approach is to illuminate Simović’s poetic-dramatic words through the phenomenon of miracles, whose ambivalence sublimates the special ex- perience of the world reflected in the poetic and dramatic opus of Ljubomir Simović
