Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on studying the peculiarities of the professional component of the economic intelligence of future lawyers with the purpose of determination of the competences of students in the field of economic knowledge. An analysis of the regulations of economic training of future lawyers with regard to formation of the economic component of their professional competence has been conducted. The fundamental elements of formation of the economic competence of students have been outlined.
