Summary/Abstract: Determining the age of execution of the documents, especially absolute seniority, is a current and relatively difficult task. This task can be solved in different ways, in particular through technical examinations of documents, as well as examinations of document materials and writing. In determining the absolute age of the documents, an important factor is the experience gained in conducting forensic examinations. In this context we come up with a concrete case from our practice of judicial expertise, in which the absolute seniority of two allegedly historical documents were determined, which are supposed to be from the first half of the XVIIth century and respectively until the 40s of the XIXth century.
