Summary/Abstract: Distributed teams are becoming the standard for most companies these days. The best proof of this is the dynamically growing market of outsourcing companies, for which distributed teams are one of the key selling points. Diversification of project resources and the possibility of shift work are undoubtedly two important advantages and, of course, not the only ones that encourage the decision to invest money in a distributed work model. However, it is important to bear in mind the risks associated with this approach. Before making key decisions, each manager should ask himself at least two questions: how to minimize the problems that are a natural course of things in such an environment and whether the benefits of working in such a model in the long run exceed the expenses associated with it. The aim of the article is to analyze the opportunities and threats in the logistics management of dispersed energy emergency teams. Managing and working in distributed teams can be a very big challenge.
