Summary/Abstract: The study is devoted to highlighting the new criminological theory, such as the criminology of law, which is the foundation of a new socio-legal institution – criminological expertise. Starting from the essence and danger of legislative crime, criminal laws and criminogenic laws, the author argues the need to outline and develop the theory of criminological expertise in order to develop the necessary scientific tools for its practical use in the legislative and normative activity of the state, as an absolutely necessary measure to prevent and combat of criminality and ensuring the criminological security of society and the individual. In parallel, such a theory is absolutely necessary for the process of formation of the future lawyers criminologists as professionals specialized in performing criminological expertise.
