Summary/Abstract: A reflection on “sensible community”, with the author first discussing political / sensible dichotomies, i.a. that what is rational, common, and pertaining to all, as well subjective, affective, and unique – so as to subsequently acknowledge the impossibility of separating those two categories. In his opinion, sensibility does not exist in itself but constitutes group activity, while sensible experience is that of collective life.
