Summary/Abstract: Sustainability in fashion industry from fiber to fashion has become a sign of a more ethical and environmental conscious of societies around the world. As the environmental awareness increases, not only fashion companies but also the fashion customer begins to request sustainable/eco collections. In this context, the concept of sustainability in fashion design has mostly approached within the framework of ecological materials, ethical responsibility, reuse, zero waste, recycling. In recent years, upcycling, in which high value-added products have emerged, where designers creativity, has also added to these concepts. Reconstruction, an upcycling technique, has started to become widespread in the 1990s, providing a sustainable production opportunity based on design in the current textile and fashion industry. The study aims providing denim ready-to-wear wastes, one of the most important but most polluting product groups of fast fashion, are redesigned through reconstruction and included in the sustainable fashion concept. In this research, five wearable products were experimentally designed using the reconstruction method from denim ready-to-wear wastes. Thus, while reducing the request for textile raw materials, it is aimed to increase in new employment and training opportunities awareness in the field of upcycling.
