Summary/Abstract: The alignment between project portfolio and strategy of an organization has to be assured not only at the stage of portfolio planning, but also at the stage of implementation, through proper systems and mechanisms of strategic control. The main aim of this paper is to present the selected issues of strategic control of project portfolio. The research was based on a case study analysis. As the subject of research a typical project-oriented company: an Internet-based marketing agency, was chosen. The conducted analysis was aimed at implemented information and control systems, their construction and role in providing project portfolio strategic alignment.
