Summary/Abstract: Abstract: In the text a possible etymology of one Bulgarian and Serbian nouns is given. The word is part of the literary language and is yet to be etymologized in the Bulgarian etymological dictionary. The lexeme is also found in Serbian, but there it is characterized by regional use and has remained on the periphery of the literary norm.
