Summary/Abstract: Abstract: The object of research in the present text are 44 Serbian masculine names derived from appellatives for animals, birds, and plants. The authors’ main aim is to present a full list of those anthroponyms including all their variations. All excerpted examples are divided into thematic groups and are classified according to their origin and way of entering the Serbian name system. Special attention is paid to the derivational models used and the extralinguistic information about the researched anthroponyms.
