Summary/Abstract: There are certain connections in the legal system between its branches, such as tax law, procedural law, administrative law, criminal or contravention law and European law, in terms of the legal regime of budget debts resulting from irregularities in the use of European funds and/or or their national public funds. The legislative framework on European funds has established this interference since the adoption of the first legislation on the prevention, detection and sanctioning of irregularities in the obtaining and use of European funds and/or related national public funds. Through this paper we want to address this issue and capitalize on it, given that, by addressing this topic, can be exposed the information needed to achieve the inter-branch link at the legal level, a context in which it can be determined how some legal institutions , initially developed in the field of fiscal and procedural-fiscal law, were taken over and transposed in the branch of administrative law, in order to ensure the legal procedural framework for recovering budget receivables from European funds and/or national public funds related to them.
