Summary/Abstract: This study aims at assessing the effect of note-taking on Moroccan EFL learners’ reading comprehension. Particularly, it investigates the effect of the mapping method on Moroccan EFL learners’ reading comprehension. This research is conducted using one major data collection instrument: the questionnaire. The total number of the respondents is 108. The participants of this study are semester-one students belonging to Ibn Tofail University. The findings indicate that note-taking has a positive impact on reading comprehension. Thus, it helps learners better understand and retain information.
