Summary/Abstract: The Author, dr Michał Kania, in his paper entitled “Cassation appeal in the two-instance model of proceedings before administrative courts” discusses the grounds for the reform of the Polish administrative judiciary, including the legal grounds for introducing the cassation appeal. It also indicates the grounds on which the cassation appeal must rest and discusses the procedure of cassation appeal examination, as well as the judgments pronounced by the Supreme Administrative Court as a result of cassation appeal examination. The author also indicates the basic elements of the cassation appeal as an ordinary means of appeal that distinguish the appeals presented in proceedings before administrative courts from the cassation appeal in civil proceedings. The publication’s value lies in the large number of judicial decisions referenced.
