Summary/Abstract: Tezkire-i Hazret-i Imâmân-ı Keriya was made after Karakhanid ruler Yusuf Kadir Khan went to Kashgar to spread the religion of Islam and then Imam Nâsraddin, Imam Kıvâmüddin, Imam Zuhiriddin and Imam Muȋniddin came to Kashgar, Yarkent and Hoten. It is a work written in Chagatai Turkish in which war and struggle are depicted. The work, which is included in the work done by Abliz Orxun and Sugawara Jun under the name of Mazar Documents from Xinjiang and Ferghan (Facsimile), is one of the five biographies that were purchased by the researchers during the field research in Kashgar. There is no information about the author or compiler of the work. It is possible to say that Tezkire-i Hazret-i Imaman-ı Keriya got its name from the Four Imams, the heroes of the legend, who were buried in a region very close to Keriye and have been passed down in the oral cultural memory of the people for centuries. It has been determined that the work, which has an important place in the oral history and narratives of the Uyghur Turks, has many variants in verse and prose, and it is called the Legend/Story of the Four Imams in other copies. In our study, the content and features of the work were handled and examined in the context of the socio-cultural structure of the period. In addition, by evaluating the place and importance of the cults of person in the plot of the tezkire in the context of the folk beliefs of the Uighur Turks, these people in the memory of the society and the cultural roots of the folk beliefs shaped around them were tried to be explained. The transcripted text of the tezkire discussed in the study is also included.
